The Jingle Cruise
In 2013, Disney gave the Jungle Cruise a holiday makeover, temporarily renaming it the “Jingle Cruise.” The Jungle Cruise is a cult favorite at Disney. It’ll have a decent-sized line shortly after Rope Drop and only grow from there. Expect a 60-90 minute wait for the Disney staple.
My family usually goes for Rope Drop, right after riding Space Mountain and the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin during the morning EMH. This year we’ve secured a FP+ that we plan on redeeming later that morning.
The story behind the Christmas makeover revolves around the skippers. The skippers are homesick for the holidays, so they’ve decorated the boathouse and queue area with homemade decorations, gifts and items sent from home. The ride doesn’t change much, except the cheesy one-liners. Even the jokes receive a holiday overhaul that will leave you cringing – alright, you may crack a smile.
It’s a definite can’t-miss as the ride’s theme is only around for the holidays.
